Anker just revealed three electric coolers under its SOLIX brand. The EverFrost models have capacities of 23 liters, 40 liters, and 58 liters, and can also function as a power station.
A standout feature of these coolers is Anker’s FrostFlow technology, which uses air to cool efficiently. According to Anker, this lets the coolers reach temperatures between -4°F and 68°F and cool food 21% faster than traditional methods. The largest model, the 58L, has a special dual-compartment design that lets you freeze and cool items simultaneously.
Battery life is crucial for these electric-powered coolers, and the EverFrost coolers use LFP batteries. The size of the battery depends on the model, but with two 288Wh batteries, the cooler can run for up to 104 hours. With just one battery, it lasts 52 hours. Besides keeping things cold, the removable battery can also be used as a power bank, with 60W USB-C and 12W USB-A ports for charging other devices. You can charge the cooler using 100W solar power, plug it into an AC outlet, use a car socket, or connect from USB-C.
The EverFrost coolers have big 6-inch wheels that make moving them over rough ground much easier. They’re built to handle heavy loads and can even go up and down stairs without getting damaged. Plus, they have an IPX3 water resistance rating that gives some protection against splashes. The coolers also have an app that lets you monitor and control them from your phone, so you can change the temperature settings and check the inside temperature even when not close to the cooler.
The Anker Solix EverFrost Electric Cooler 23L is $699, while the 40L is $749. The 58L model comes with two compartments and costs $999. These coolers will be available from Anker’s online store and (likely third-party retailers) starting February 21, 2025.
