ORLANDO, Fla. — You’ve probably used them to find keys, even luggage at the airport.

But according to a public records request, Channel 9 found two victims of domestic violence were tracked by their abuser’s Apple AirTags.

One of the victims in the report told deputies she “checked her vehicle exterior and located the Apple AirTag tracking device underneath the rear bumper of her vehicle.”

The man whom she assumed placed it there, admitted he had.

Michelle Sperzel, CEO of Harbor House, said a handful of people have come forward to report being tracked by Apple AirTags.

“It’s something that’s on our radar,” she said. “We had a survivor, she ended up finding an AirTag in her car.”
