NCWLIFE Channel’s Eric Granstrom sits down to get to know the Apple Blossom Top Ten Candidates for the Royalty Selection Pageant this week. Today, we meet Candidate Mallory West, the daughter of Todd and Stacy West. NCWLIFE will have LIVE coverage Saturday beginning with the Countdown to Coronation at 6:30pm, followed by the Royalty Selection Pageant, presented by Cashmere Valley Bank, at 7:00pm.
Mallory is the daughter of Todd and Stacy West. Mallory participates on her high school Sports Medicine team, she is on the Track team, and is one of the Red Zone leaders for athletic events. Mallory volunteers at elementary schools, and donates to yearly Toy and Clothes Drives. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, hanging out with family, and spending time at her cabin at Lake Wenatchee. After graduation, Mallory plans to go to college to major in Psychology.
Mallory’s favorite TV show is Friends and her favorite movie is The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Her favorite song is “Nothing New” by Taylor Swift and her favorite book is Because of Winn-Dixie by Kate DiCamillo. She is most inspired by her mom and her most treasured keepsake is a necklace that she wears every day.
Mallory’s favorite thing to do in the Wenatchee Valley, besides Apple Blossom, is to visit the shops on Avenue with friends and family. Her proudest moment in life is having the courage to run for Apple Blossom. If Mallory could trade places with anyone for a day, she would trade places with Emma Chamberlain. Mallory feels she should represent the Wenatchee Valley and the Apple Blossom Festival because she has a passion for helping and inspiring others, being a role model for younger girls, and she grew up loving her community and Apple Blossom.
