Apple Music is one of the most premium audio streaming services that offer Spatial audio sound, thanks to the latest OS update by the company. Now with the latest Voice Plan, Apple is offering subscribers access to their service with over 90 million songs, thousands of curated playlists, set for different moods and personalisted mixes among other things.
The Cupertino-based tech company launched the plan in India for Rs 49 per month.
“Apple Music and Siri are natural partners and already work seamlessly together,” said Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Apple Music and Beats.
With this subscription, the users will also get a customised in-app experience with music suggestions based on their past listening preferences.
There’s also a dedicated section within Apple Music called ‘Just Ask Siri’ where subscribers can learn new ways to utilize and boost Siri for flawless audio experience on the app.
‘Just Ask Siri’ option pops up as you open the Apple Music app and scroll down.
Apart from Spatial Audio experience, the users will also get to enjoy Lossless Audio, Lyrics, Music Videos, and more on Apple Music.
As the user clicks on ‘Just Ask Siri’, they will find a huge log of playlists, each curated for different moods and activity.
How does this plan work?
Since Siri is actively used by millions of Apple devices, the plan combines the free flow of the software opperating on voice command to stream through the music catalogue on Apple Music in order to give users effortless melodies journey.
Users can wake up Siri by the typical command “Hello, Siri” and have her play any song of your choice.
How to activate the plan?
Apple users can subscribe to the Voice Plan via Siri itself by saying “Hey Siri, start my Apple Music Voice Trail”.
Users can also subscribe by signing up through the Apple Music app. Once subscribed, users can request Siri to play any song of their choice through all their Siri-enabled devices including HomePod mini, AirPods, iPhone, CarPlay or other Apple devices.
Initially, users can choose the trial option which is a one-time, seven-day free preview with no auto-renewal offered to nonsubscribers who request music through Siri.
After the free trial, the plan will cost Rs 49 per month.
The subscribers can easily switch to Apple Music’s individual plan for INR 99 per month or family plan with up to six accounts for INR 149 per month at any time.
