Apple nominated for six News & Documentary Emmy awards

On Thursday, Apple received six nominations for its celebrated Apple TV+ documentaries, including “The Line, “Fathom,” and more.

The modern warfare docuseries “The Line” received two nominations for Best Documentary and Outstanding Investigative Documentary.

Apple’s award-winning film “9/11: Inside the President’s War Room” received a single nomination for Outstanding Editing: Documentary.

And lastly, music docuseries “Watch the Sound with Mark Ronson” received a nomination for Outstanding Sound: Documentary.

The News & Documentary Emmy Awards are presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The awards aim to highlight excellence in American national news and documentary programming.

The 43rd Annual News & Documentary Emmy Awards winners will be unveiled at ceremonies on September 28 and 29, 2022.
