Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon” will see a theatrical release in October and will stream globally on Apple TV+ afterwards.

Set in 1920s Oklahoma, “Killers of the Flower Moon” chronicles the serial murder of members of the Osage Nation — a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the “Reign of Terror.”

It’s based on the David Grann book “Killers Of The Flower Moon: The Osage Murders And The Birth Of The FBI.” Eric Roth adapted the screenplay.

“Killers of the Flower Moon” will be released exclusively in theaters in a limited run on October 6 and then a wide release on October 20. After its theatrical release, it will stream on Apple TV+.

Martin Scorsese serves as the director, and Leonardo DiCaprio plays Ernest Burkhart, the son of a powerful local rancher. Lily Gladstone plays Mollie Burkhart, Ernest’s wife.
