No two activities are more quintessentially autumn than apple picking and leaf peeping. Luckily, you can do both on this fall weekend trip in Arizona! Pick your favorite apple variety at Apple Annie’s Orchard, then head up to Sedona to spend the night in a cabin surrounded by breathtaking fall foliage. We can’t imagine a better way to celebrate the season.

Our weekend of fall fun begins at Apple Annie’s Orchard in Willcox.

This pick-your-own fruit and vegetable farm offers a variety of produce, but it’s best known for the nearly one dozen varieties of apples that grow on its trees.

While some of the apples ripen in August, most are available for harvest during September and October.

Grab a wagon and fill a bucket (or several) with all your favorite kinds until your heart’s content.

The orchard also boasts some of the most stunning fall foliage you’ll ever see, adding an air of enchantment to your apple-picking experience.
We can only think of one thing better than biting into a crunchy, juicy apple straight from the tree: apple baked goods. From apple cider donuts to apple pie, Apple Annie’s has it all.

Other fall festivities at the orchard include a pumpkin patch, sunflower field, and a 20-acre corn maze (the largest in Arizona!).
Once you’ve had your fill of apples and pumpkins, it’s time for some rest and relaxation at Orchard Canyon on Oak Creek in Sedona.

These cozy cabins are about a four-hour drive from Apple Annie’s, but it’s a trip you won’t regret making.

Guests have 17 cabins to choose from, each one sleeping between two to six people.
