However, it wasn’t Apple’s only series to receive attention. “The Morning Show,” one of the streaming service’s first available titles, has picked up four nominations, as follows:

    • Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series – Billy Crudup
    • Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series – Jennifer Aniston

Apple’s films have also picked up three nominations. The first goes to Denzel Washington for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role in “The Tragedy of MacBeth.”

The second goes to Troy Kotsur for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role in “CODA.” The film also picked up a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture.

This year’s ceremony will be held in person at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica on Sunday, February 27. The show will also air live on TNT and TBS. As Too Fab points out, there’s no word on who is hosting yet.

Apple TV+ films “The Tragedy of Macbeth” and “CODA,” and series “Ted Lasso” and “Schmigadoon!” had been selected as recipients of AFI Awards in 2021.

Jason Sudeikis was named Best Television Actor in a musical or comedy at the 2022 Golden Globes, for his performance in Apple TV+ hit “Ted Lasso.”
