iOS 15.7.1 is available for older iPhones
Apple has provided iOS 15.7.1 and iPadOS 15.7.1 with security updates and patches for devices that can’t update to iOS 16, or for those who don’t want to.

Apple listed the following devices that the update is designated for: iPhone 6s and later, iPad Pro (all models), iPad Air 2 and later, iPad 5th generation and later, iPad mini 4 and later, and iPod touch (7th generation).
