Apple releases macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 with security fixes


Apple is rolling out macOS Sequoia 15.1.1 today with what it says are important security fixes. The update comes three weeks after macOS Sequoia 15.1 was released to the public.

Apple’s release notes say: “This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users.” The build number for today’s update is 24B91. The update is available to all Macs that are capable of running macOS Sequoia.

You can update your Mac by going to System Settings, choosing General, then choosing Software Update.

Apple hasn’t yet updated its security webpage with details on what vulnerabilities have been patched in macOS Sequoia 15.1.1. We’ll update this post as soon as that information is available.
