TECH GIANT APPLE IS REPORTEDLY DEVELOPING A VIRTUAL REALITY HEADSET
(CNN) – Apple is reportedly working on a new virtual reality headset.
Bloomberg reports that the headset will mainly be used as an ‘augmented reality’ device, like Sony’s Playstation virtual reality and Oculus Systems.
Apple is not saying anything about the project.
But tech insiders say the headset will be a high-end, niche pair of VR glasses with a more mainstream version to be released later.
The headset would be Apple’s first new product type since it released the apple watch in 2015.
