In preparation for next week’s ‘Far out’ special event, where Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE 2, all-new rugged Apple Watch, and more, the official @Apple account on Twitter is offering to send personalized event reminders to those interested in watching the event live on Apple.com.

As seen ahead of previous events, Apple is promoting a tweet that invites users to tap the Favorite button on Twitter to receive a reminder from @Apple ahead of the main event next Wednesday.

Tapping the Favorite button on Twitter sees users receive an immediate thank you message from Apple, with the main reminder usually being shared 5-10 minutes before the event itself, kicking off on September 7 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time (PT).

As well as the personalized reminders, Apple has created a special ‘hashflag’ custom icon on Twitter for the #AppleEvent hashtag, which shows whenever a user tweets using #AppleEvent in their post.
