Apple’s Sports app keeps pushing regular new updates on the App Store. Just two weeks ago, the app added info for where to watch national games plus new navigation shortcuts and more. And today, Apple Sports version 2.5 has introduced NASCAR support and is ready for MLB’s Spring Training.
New update to Apple Sports is version 2.5, with two new features
Ever since launching last February, Apple Sports has become one of the most regularly updated Apple apps. It’s quickly become my go-to app for tracking scores, and I especially love its Live Activity support on iOS and watchOS.
Now, fans of NASCAR can use the app to keep up with their favorite sport too.
And if you’re a baseball follower, you can track all the games of MLB Spring Training right from the app or your iPhone Lock Screen.
Here are Apple’s release notes for today’s version 2.5:
- Start your engines! NASCAR is now on Apple Sports. Get live race coverage and leaderboard updates, starting with the Daytona 500.
- Spring Training is here. Follow your favorite teams as they get ready for the MLB season.
If you’re not yet using Apple Sports, you can download it on the App Store.
It’s great to see the Sports app keep getting better. My next big request: bring on the iPad version.
