Apple Sports now includes broadcast info for where to watch national games

Apple has released a new version of its Sports app for iPhone with three new features.

These include better navigation with swiping between pages, more soccer event support, and broadcast info for where to watch national games. Apple released its in-house Sports app almost a year ago, bringing a new way to easily track leagues, teams, and more with a dedicated app that works with Live Activities on iPhone and Apple Watch.

These are the release notes for Apple Sports version 2.4:

  • The Apple Sports soccer lineup keeps getting bigger with the FA Cup, EFL Championship, and League Cup.
  • Navigating between your favorites is even faster now. Swipe left or right to browse all of the leagues and teams you follow.
  • Tune in to all the national games with broadcast information now available on game pages.

Check out the new version from the App Store here.

Meanwhile, mark your calendars for the Eagles vs Chiefs Super Bowl rematch in New Orleans on February 9. Fortunately, there’s a convenient way to stream the game in 4K for free this year.
