Apple Supplier Hon Hai Reported Strong Q2 Revenues today while remaining Apple’s #1 Supplier for iPhone 13


     

    Apple’s major iPhone assembler Hon Hai Precision (Foxconn) that reported a 20% jump in Q2 revenue today will continue to be Apple’s number one supplier of the upcoming iPhone 13.  A new supply chain report claims that Hon Hai will manufacture Apple’s top iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max models  while getting about 60-68% of the 6.1-inch iPhone 13.  

     

    The United Daily News report further claims that “Pegatron has exclusively won the order for the 5.4-inch iPhone 13.  As for the red supply chain indicator, Luxshare which enters Apple’s supply chain for iPhones, will join Hon Hai in 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro production. Luxshare could get 20%-40%  of the orders.

     

    While the news report states that “Luxshare” will be entering iPhone production for the first time, the reality is that China’s Luxshare acquired Apple supplier Wistron’s plant last year as Wistron decided to open an iPhone plant in India.
