Immersive Video on the Vision Pro is one of the product’s must-try experiences, and Apple’s first new release of the year—Man Vs. Beast—arrives next week to take you on a bull-riding adventure.
Man Vs. Beast video takes Vision Pro users to the rodeo
Man Vs. Beast is a 10-minute short film coming to Vision Pro next week, per the Apple TV app.
The new Immersive Video will debut on Friday, January 31 and transport viewers into the wild world of the rodeo.
Here’s Apple’s description:
Hang on tight as professional bull riders take you inside the rodeo and show you what it takes to compete in the dangerous sport.
Over the last few months, Apple has gotten in a pattern of releasing 1-2 new Immersive Videos per month to Vision Pro users. These have ranged in subject and genre, with everything from an immersive concert, scripted short film, music video, sports content, and more.
Man Vs. Beast looks like a fun twist on the sports genre. I’ll admit, though, that the prospect of 180-degree immersive bull riding sounds scarier than watching basketball or soccer highlights.
Other new Immersive Videos expected soon include:
- the second episode of Elevated, which takes viewers to a crisp and serene autumn in New England
- and the next Adventure installment focused on free-solo climbing in Majorca
With almost a full year of Immersive Video under Apple’s belt, I’m hopeful we’ll see the new content drops become more frequent throughout 2025.
