Apple’s sleek-yet-powerful new M2 MacBook Air is down by $100 on Amazon. The discount brings its price down to $1,099 from $1,199.

This is the lowest price the M2 MacBook Air has dropped to since its launch in July.

2022 MacBook Air is slim and powerful

Apple unveiled the svelte new M2 MacBook Air at WWDC22 in June. The redesigned Mac went on sale in July. With a sleeker and lighter chassis and a bigger 13.6-inch display, the M2 MacBook Air is a significant upgrade over the M1 model.

Apart from the design changes, it also features a 1080p FaceTime HD camera, a four-speaker setup with Spatial Audio support, and a three-mic array.

Despite the thin chassis, the 2022 MacBook Air is powered by Apple’s M2 chip packing an 8-core GPU and up to 10-core GPU. Compared to the M1, it offers an 18% uplift in CPU performance, 35% more powerful GPU, and a 40% faster Neural Engine. Despite the speedy performance, Apple claims the M2 MacBook Air can last up to 18 hours on a single charge. And with MagSafe, topping up the battery is also a breeze.

Don’t miss this $100 discount on the M2 MacBook Air

The myriad of improvements of the new MacBook Air comes at a cost. It is $200 more expensive than the M1 model. While the 2020 MacBook Air starts at $999, the 2022 model retails for $1,199.

Thanks to the $100 discount on Amazon, you can get the M2 MacBook Air for $1,099. That’s a great price, especially since Apple launched it just over a month ago. The deal is only available on the Starlight shade, with other colors retailing at full price. If you want the 512GB model, that carries a modest $20 discount bringing its price down to $1,479.

Amazon is likely going to run out of M2 MacBook Air stocks sooner than later. So, if you have been eyeing the machine for a while, now is the time to pull the trigger.
