Armed Robbery At Temecula Apple Store: Suspect Photos Released


    TEMECULA, CA — Photos of a man who robbed the Apple store at Promenade Temecula mall were released Monday, and sheriff’s deputies are hoping the public can help identify the suspect.

    The man entered the store at 40764 Winchester Road around 7:30 p.m. Nov. 21 wearing gloves and carrying scissors, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

    “The suspect began removing phones from the display counter and placed them in the bag he was carrying,” the department reported. “A witness attempted to intervene and the suspect subsequently brandished a handgun.”

    He fled on foot to an adjacent parking lot with 20 phones totaling $18,000 in value, according to the sheriff’s department.

    The man is described as about 22 years old, approximately 5-feet-9-inches tall, and weighing 175 pounds.
