Asus ZenBeam L2 Portable Projector Has 4K HDR, Android TV 12

There are countless portable projectors available today, from (somewhat) budget options like the Wemax Dice Mini to ultra-premium models like the XGIMI Horizon Ultra. Asus probably isn’t the first name you think of in the projector business, but the company just revealed a new model that might change your mind: the ZenBeam L2.

Asus has unveiled the ZenBeam L2 smart portable LED projector, which fits right into the company’s lineup as its latest compact projector. It was previously announced during CES 2023, but it’s now reaching store shelves soon. It offers Full HD 1080p resolution, 4K HDR compatibility, and comes with a Google-certified Android TV 12 box preloaded with popular streaming apps like Netflix. With a brightness of 960 LED lumens and a powerful 10W Harman Kardon speaker featuring Smart Amp technology, the company promises high-quality visuals and audio.

The ZenBeam L2 is designed for convenience and portability, featuring a leather carrying handle and a built-in 65Wh battery that provides up to 3.5 hours of video projection. It’s also equipped with a short-throw lens that can project images ranging from 40 inches to an immersive 120-inch diagonal size. The device ensures quick and easy setup, automatically correcting focus and keystone adjustments. It even supports voice commands via Google Assistant, and it also has Chromecast support for easy content casting from smartphones and tablets. It even has features such as the ASUS Light Wall, offering 26 built-in content options to transform any room into various virtual environments, enhancing the overall viewing experience.

Connectivity options include HDMI, USB Type-A and Type-C, as well as a headphone jack. Asus also really wants you to know that it cares about the environment with the ZenBeam L2. It uses an eco-friendly, mercury-free LED light source and meets world-leading sustainability certifications. The packaging is also eco-friendly, featuring FSC Mix certification.

The Asus ZenBeam L2 is now available on Amazon for $722.77, and it will arrive on October 11th (as of the time of writing). It’s not clear if the project is still in a pre-order period, or if it’s just back-ordered. Either way, it will ship to you when it’s available.
