Balenciaga Drops Toolbox Apple iPhone 12 Pro Case

Balenciaga‘s oddities, objects, and accessories are often as much of a talking point as its Demna Gvasalia-designed collections are — just check out the water bottle, laser cube, or lunch box if you need reminding — and now the luxury fashion house has released its latest piece: the toolbox-inspired Apple iPhone 12 and 12 Pro case.

Made from recycled plastic and finished in a matte black hue, the toolbox case features a 3D design that adds strategically placed grooves and block sections that not only make the case look like a toolbox, but also make the phone easier to hold in hand. “BB” and “Balenciaga” branding is prominently placed in the center of the case, while six screws — placed at the top, middle, and bottom respectively — further accentuate the hardware-like nature of this accessory.

As the image displays, the phone case comes with a small branded screwdriver that allows you to “screw to close” the case, making it fit snuggly onto your iPhone 12 or iPhone 12 Pro. On the inside, Balenciaga has added no details, leaving just a smooth plastic interior for your phone to fit into.

The Balenciaga iPhone 12 and 12 Pro toolbox phone case retails for $395 USD and can be bought from Balenciaga’s webstore now.

Also from Balenciaga, the brand has opened pre-orders for its divisive Toe Bootie.
