BELPRE — The Belpre Lions Club will hold its 44th Belpre Lions Club Apple Butter Stir Off on Oct. 8 and 9 at Civitan Park in Belpre.
The event will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
The Belpre Lions Club is a service organization and the stir off is its biggest service project to bring all the community together to enjoy good friends, good food, and good entertainment; along with a variety of crafters and vendors, organizers said.
Volunteers from Pioneer Presbyterian Church have been making traditional apple butter, which will be sold on site in quarts and pints.
The return of the Apple of Your Eye pageants with competition in Baby Miss and Mister, Tiny Miss and Mister and finally Little Miss will be happening on Saturday afternoon. These little ones will be crowned by our Miss Teen Apple of Your Eye Katie Woodford.
Entertainment will include Elvis Tribute Artist Jim Forshey, the Belpre High School Marching Band and the Belpre High School cheerleaders. Other entertainment will include The Loves, Rockin’ Country Fever and Emaline Duquette.
There will be inflatables for both young and old. A new feature this year will be the Alpaca Run Farm.
