While Black Friday is still a little ways away, it’s worth getting up to speed on what you should expect, and on thinking about the best iPad to buy with your hard-earned cash. After all, it’s one of the biggest, if not the biggest, sales event of the year when it comes to electronics, and iPads are one of the most sought-after when it comes to Apple and tech products during these Black Friday deals. So let’s take a look at what sort of iPad deals to expect, where to find them, and how soon we’re likely to start seeing deals!
When will the Black Friday iPad deals start in 2022?
Officially, Black Friday will be November 25 this year, but that doesn’t tell the whole story when it comes to getting an iPad deal. For the past few years, retailers have started having sales earlier, and that’s not only for Black Friday. We’ve seen Prime Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, and a few others have sales several days before the “official” start of the sales event. As such, we’re likely to start seeing great Black Friday iPad deals rolling out before November 25, and given how far back some of these sales tend to go, we may even see some as early as November 21, so it’s important to keep an eye out ahead of time to get on the best deals as quickly as possible.
Which retailer has the best Black Friday iPad deals?
This is a bit of a difficult question to answer, given that Apple is famously tight with its pricing, and we’re seeing the rollout of several new devices announced during the Apple Far Out event. That being said, Black Friday tends to see great deals from all retailers, so you should be able to find something good at your favorite retailer if you look hard enough.
More specifically, we expect that Amazon will likely have the best Apple deals, especially given that they have the most leeway in pricing and the historical data regarding how they price Apple products during sales. Whether you want to grab a new phone, smartwatch, or MacBook Pro, we believe that Amazon is going to have deals across all of Apple’s products, so if you’re a fan of Amazon and would like to shop there specifically, then you’re likely going to be set.
Of course, we’re also likely to see the big brick-and-mortar stores have a lot of sales as well, and that includes the big guns like Walmart and Best Buy, although they’ll likely be more focused on Apple TVs, AirPods, and other peripherals, such as iPad keyboards, than directly with phones unless they’re special deals with carriers.
Speaking of phone companies, all the major ones are likely to come out with deals for Black Friday, with the big guns being AT&T and Verizon since they hold quite a strong market share. That being said, Apple did announce that they’re partnering with T-Mobile to provide satellite SoS messages, so we’d be shocked if there weren’t some great deals from T-Mobile as well, given this new partnership.
Should you shop Black Friday iPad deals or wait until Cyber Monday?
Having both Cyber Monday and Black Friday right next to each other makes folks fear missing out on a great deal, but the truth is, both of these events are overstock events, so if you find a deal that you like, then grab it, regardless of whether it’s on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. It’s true that Cyber Monday often has a wider range of deals, but given the limited stock on both these days, it’s truly best not to wait too long. Of course, that also depends on the model, with the 2022 iPad Air and 2021 iPad likely to go quickly, while the iPad Pro 12.9-inch deals will be around longer since it’s more expensive and less likely to be bought up quickly.
That being said, if you do miss out on a deal, don’t freak out! Cyber Monday will be going on for nearly a week this year, with deals happening well past Cyber Monday, so you can always pick up something during then if you miss the main two shopping events.
