Following US presidential election’s exit polls that speculated a Republican victory, Bitcoin surged past its all-time-high crossing $75,000 mark. Buoyed by positive market sentiments, the leading cryptocurrency surpassed its previous high of $73,750.
At 8:50 Bitcoin soared by 8.4% at $75,060. While Ether rose by 7.2% at $2,576, other cryptocurrencies including BNB, Solana, XRP, Dogecoin, Cardano, Shiba Inu, Avalanche and Chainlink reported notable gains by 5%, 13.5%, 5%, 21.6%, 6.6%, 10%, 12.3% and 11.4% respectively.
As per a data by CoinMarketCap, the volume of all stablecoins stands at $100.92 billion.
Notably, Bitcoin is the world’s largest cryptocurrency. During the last 24 hours, its market cap surged to $1.445 trillion. In the overall cryptocurrency sector, Bitcoin’s dominance is currently 59.86%.
