Bitcoin firm leases space in Woodlands office tower


    NYDIG, a Bitcoin company delivering technology and financial services to banks, fintechs, insurers and corporations, leased 26,530 square feet at 9950 Woodloch Forest Tower. The company will occupy a floor in the 31-story building, which is part of The Woodlands Towers at The Waterway. William R. Padon and Kevin Kushner of CBRE represented the tenant. Bob Parsley, Norm Munoz, Jillian Fredricks and Connor Duffy with Colliers International represented the landlord, the Howard Hughes Corp.

    WCA Waste Corp. subleased 19,945 square feet of office space at 1330 Post Oak Blvd., Houston. Dan Boyles and Michael Mannella of NAI Partner represented the sublessee. The sublessor, Immunicom, was represented by Travis Taylor of Lee & Associates.

    ReconMR, a survey research company, leased 9,744 square feet of office space in Arena Towers at 7324 Southwest Freeway near Bellaire Boulevard. Trey Miller of Boxer Property represented the landlord. Buddy Francese of Mutual Trust Corporate Real Estate represented the tenant.

    A partnership of Houston-based Better World Holdings and New York-based Crown Capital Ventures acquired Skylar Pointe Apartments, a 449-unit apartment complex at 1110 El Camino Village Drive in the Clear Lake area for $49.1 million. The project was built in 1979 and totals 423,240 square feet. The owners plan a $4.6 million renovation, including $2.9 million for interior upgrades. Better World Holdings will manage the properties and renovations through its Better World Properties management arm.

    Los Angeles-based Rising Realty purchased Commerce Center, a 16-building, 245,495-square-foot single-story industrial park on 14.6 acres on Greenbriar Drive near Kirkwood in Stafford from Partners Capital, the investment platform of Partners Real Estate Co. Trent Agnew and Charlie Strauss at JLL represented the seller.

    BHW Capital, a Houston-based multifamily developer, broke ground on Park on Napoli, a 239-unit apartment community at Cypresswood Drive and Napoli Drive in northwest Houston. The property will have an 8,200-square-foot clubhouse with private and collaborative offices for use by tenants, a resort-style pool, grill house, dog park, fitness center with yoga studio. Units are designed with built in spaces for working from home. Mucasey and Associates is the architect and Blazer is the general contractor. Texas Capital Bank provided construction financing. Completion is planned in the fourth quarter of 2022.

    Sealy & Co., in a joint venture with Investment & Development Ventures, acquired a 14.8-acre site at 4113 Greenshadow Drive in Park 225 for the development of a 267,000-square-foot industrial facility. Completion is planned in the fourth quarter.

    NQC-VAQ Pearland Texas ORA 19 LLC acquired a 0.78-acre tract at the intersection of Shadow Creek Parkway and Kingsley Drive, Pearland. Brad LyBrand of NewQuest Properties represented the seller, A-S 143SC Ranch LP.

    Interceramic, a ceramic and porcelain tile manufacturing company, leased 70,000 square feet at Prologis Park, West by Northwest 1 at 10333 Papalote. Brian Gammill and Darryl Noon of Transwestern represented the landlord. Steve Berger and Susan Haysom of CBRE represented the tenant.

    Community Coffee leased 34,763 square feet at Windfern Industrial Park, at 6399 Windfern Road. Andrew Littlefield with Stream Realty Partners represented the tenant.

    Reach Cooling subleased 27,502 square feet at Turning Basin Industrial Park, at 2005 Turning Basin Drive. Mark Nicholas of JLL represented the sublessee. Zack Taylor and Trey Horne of Colliers International represented the sublessor, John Manville Co.
