Since 2009, the price of Bitcoin has increased astronomically every year until Thanksgiving. During the holiday season, the markets welcomed optimism, and Bitcoin reached all-time highs. We will showcase the price of BTC over Thanksgiving every year from 2009 to 2023 in this article.

Bitcoin’s Price During Thanksgiving

Bitcoin was trading at $0 during Thanksgiving 2009 and $0.28 in 2010. Therefore, for $1,000, you would have bagged 3,571 BTC nearly 13 years ago. The $1,000 investment back then would be worth nearly $132 million now, in 2023.

In the Thanksgiving period of 2011, the value of BTC rose to $2.49, marking a significant increase of 789% compared to the Thanksgiving of 2010.

Similarly, on Thanksgiving in 2012, the price of BTC reached $12.51, reflecting a surge of 402% from the preceding year’s Thanksgiving.
