Blue Apple Farm returns raptors to flight – Santa Cruz Sentinel


A great horned owl spreads its wings as it rehabilitates at Blue Apple Farm in the Aptos hills. Brandee and Rob, the farm’s owners have been collaborating with Native Animal Rescue to rehab raptors on their property until they can be released back into the wild. Through their volunteering the couple has rehabilitated and released injured hawks, falcons, owls, ravens and crows back into the wild. (Shmuel Thaler – Santa Cruz Sentinel)
