After all the leaks, rumors, and what was almost an unboxing video, October 19th is finally here with the much-anticipated Pixel 6 series launch event kicking off at 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM BST. According to reports, the Tensor-powered Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will be affordably priced in the US and European markets, although we’ll find out for sure during the launch event later today. Wondering where you can catch the live stream coverage of the launch? Join us after the break to find out.
It should come as no surprise that Google will live stream the virtual launch event on YouTube, via the web and the Android and iOS apps. As the first proper flagship Pixel handsets since the Pixel 4 series in 2019, much is expected of Google’s new smartphones, and if the leaked specs are in any way accurate, we should be in for a treat.
Apart from the new design with that polarizing camera strip on the rear panel, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro also sport Google’s custom Tensor processor, a goodly amount of RAM, and finally, a much-improved array of camera sensors that includes a 50MP main camera and a 48MP ultra-wide lens, with the 6 Pro gaining an additional 12MP telephoto lens.
With just a few hours to go before the live stream kicks off, where do you stand on pre-ordering the Pixel 6 or Pixel 6 Pro? Let us know in the comments below.
