Catch the livestream of Honor’s “Unfold Tomorrow” keynote at IFA on September 1st from 10AM CEST

IFA 2023 is upon us and Honor is scheduled to give a keynote speech on the opening day where it’s expected to show off the Magic V2 foldable as well as a futuristic new device (also thought to be folding) which incorporates a ‘trendsetting fashion element’. Titled “Unfold Tomorrow”, the keynote is yet another step in Honor’s comeback journey and we’ve got the details on how to catch the livestream coverage for you after the break.

The keynote starts at 10 AM CEST/ 9 AM GMT/ 4 AM EST and it will be presented by Honor’s CEO, George Zhao, who has the following to say about the presentation. As you might expect, Honor’s keynote will be streamed via its YouTube channel as well on its X (formerly Twitter) account.

“Technology continues to set trends that influence every aspect of our lives – our choices are not just a reflection of our style, but often double up as an expression of our identities and how we choose to live our lives. Since the inception of foldable smartphones, the voyage of smartphone evolution has been amazing to see. HONOR has come a long way with each iteration of foldable smartphones, showcasing remarkable advancements in design, functionality, and durability. It’s time for foldable smartphones to step into the limelight, using technology to empower fashion industry and reshape future life experiences. With this concept, HONOR will explore the rise of the emerging foldable technology and the impact on creativity, as well as what this might mean for the future of lifestyle.”

Besides the rather svelte Magic V2 foldable which is thinner, more powerful, and more crease-less than ever before, the fashion-forward concept phone that is being teased is thought to be of the clamshell variety. If so, Honor could be bringing the heat to Samsung and Motorola’s respective Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Razr+ phones later this year.

He’s been an Android fan ever since owning an HTC Hero, with the Dell Streak being his first phablet. He currently carries an Honor Magic 5 Pro in his pockets, a Xiaomi Pad 5 in his backpack, and thinks nothing of lugging a 17-inch laptop around the world. When not immersed in the world of Android and gadgets, he’s an avid sports fan, and like all South Africans, he loves a good Braai (BBQ).
