Having launched innumerable affordable handsets during 2020, Motorola looks set to continue the practice with the as-yet-unannounced Moto G30 and Moto E7 Power. Moto G30

First up is the Moto G30 with its 6.5-inch LCD display with 1600 x 720 (HD+) resolution and a teardrop notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The back panel boasts a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and couple of 2MP sensors for macro and depth imaging.

Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 octa-core processor that is accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage, the Moto G30 also supports MicroSD cards. Unusually for one of Motorola’s affordable handsets, NFC support is present, as is Bluetooth 5.0, a USB-C charging port, and a big 5,000mAh battery. The Moto G30 will launch running Android 11 out of the box, which is once again unusual for Motorola.

    Moto E7 Power

Basically a Moto E with a larger battery capacity, the Moto E7 Power has the same 6.5-inch LCD panel as the G30 but the teardrop notch houses a 5MP selfie camera. There are a couple of rear cameras consisting of a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP macro lens.

Under the hood is MediaTek’s Helio G25 octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. MicroSD support is present, as is a 5,000mAh battery which is the phone’s main feature. The Moto E7 Power runs Android 10 out of the box and should be priced somewhere around the €150 region.
