Apple and Comcast kicked off a partnership this year to support MLS Season Pass, which saw Major League Soccer matches stream on Comcast Xfinity cable channels. In an expansion of that relationship, Apple is making more of the MLS Season Pass content free to watch for Xfinity subscribers, at no additional charge.
All of the Major League Soccer broadcasts are already integrated into the Comcast Xfinity cable channel guide, so you don’t even need to open the Apple TV app to watch. Just navigate to the MLS channels in the EPG and tune in.
Additionally, the whip-around show MLS 360 is also available to watch for free through Comcast Xfinity. This gives viewers highlights of all the games being played live, all hosted by a live studio broadcast team.
The news is that Sunday Night Soccer matches are also being added to watch for free to Xfinity. Customers simply tune in to the MLS channel on Sunday nights and they can start watching all the pre-show, live commentated match, and post-game content. Games will be also featured in the Soccer Sports hub inside the X1 and Stream set-top box interfaces.
This initiative kicks off this weekend with the May 18 Sunday Night Soccer double-header matchup with Inter Miami vs Orlando City, and LA Galaxy vs LAFC.
All Sunday Night Soccer matches broadcast on Xfinity will be available in English and Spanish, with dedicated broadcast teams for each language.
If you don’t have Xfinity, you can watch with an MLS Season Pass subscription through the Apple TV app. You can currently enjoy the remainder of the 2025 season for just $69, further discounted to $59 for Apple TV+ subscribers.
