If opening up the Digital Wellbeing section is too much of a hassle, OnePlus has launched a new app called ‘WellPaper’ that uses live wallpapers to show your daily handset usage. Best of all, it’s available to install on any phone running on Android 7.0 or higher which means you don’t even need to be using a OnePlus smartphone to try out the WellPaper app.

The WellPaper app from the OneLab Studio gives you the option of choosing between Composition, Radial, and Glow wallpapers with each color showing how much time you’ve spent on your phone as well as what you’ve been doing on the phone such as gaming or browsing. The wallpaper will adjust during the day to your ongoing usage showing little arrows that indicate whether a certain use is on the up or on the downward slope.

Opening up the WellPaper app reveals a much more detailed report on your smartphone usage, where you’ll be able to see just how much time you’ve spent browsing for new sneakers or playing Call of Duty Mobile.

He’s been an Android fan ever since owning an HTC Hero, with the Dell Streak being his first phablet. He currently carries an OPPO Find X2 Pro in his pockets, a Galaxy Tab S5e in his backpack, and thinks nothing of lugging a 17-inch laptop around the world. When not immersed in the world of Android and gadgets, he’s an avid sports fan, and like all South Africans, he loves a good Braai (BBQ).
