Getting to Know the EBL Portable Power Station Voyager 1000

Ebl Mp1000 Portable Power Station Unboxed

The EBL Portable Power Station Voyager 1000 includes the device itself, along with a few power cords. Included in the box are:

  • Portable power station
  • MC4-7909 connector cable
  • AC 100-240V wall plug power adapter
  • 12V car charger cable
  • User Manual

One look at the front, and you’ll see all of the possible ways to connect the device to be charged and to charge other devices. It includes the following ports and inputs.

Basically, you can power or charge nearly anything and everything. I think of it almost like a power bank on steroids, but it’s so much more. It’s extremely useful around the home, it’s a good backup should the power go out, and it’s fantastic for car travel, specifically camping.

Charging the Power Station

The EBL Portable Power Station Voyager 1000 can be charged via AC power, car charger, or solar power. It also has pass-through charging. It charges via the wall charger in about seven to eight hours, nine to 11 hours via the car charger when the car is running, and six to nine hours via solar panels.

Charging from the car charger works just as well and couldn’t be any easier. It even charges while the car is off, though it’s slower.

My review unit didn’t come with solar panels, but they are available if that appeals to you. They would be a great addition for camping trips when you don’t want to wear down your car battery.

Charging and Powering Your Devices

Not only can you charge nearly anything with the EBL Portable Power Station Voyager 1000, but you can do it multiple times. I do all my work and social things on an iPad Pro, use it between 12 and 15 hours a day and recharge it twice during the day, then overnight. I have 74% power left on the power station, and that’s after recharging it twice a day and my keyboard once a day for one week, though I’d recharge it at night with the regular charger (though I didn’t need to).

Here’s a look at the different types of devices the power station will charge and how many times over.

Along with the three USB-A and one USB-C port, the power station also has a wireless charging pad on the top. It works the same as all wireless charging pads, but you need to turn on the power button and the USB port button for it to charge.

It also charged my AirPods Pro.

Of course, it still charges items with DC and AC power. I’m using it here to run my Crock Pot via AC.

As if charging everything wasn’t enough, the power station also has a light bar on the top. This light can also run an SOS signal. I put myself in a 100% dark room (my bathroom) with no windows. This is how well the power station lit up the room.

Final Thoughts

The EBL Portable Power Station Voyager 1000 is a helpful device to have around for backup power in your home, outdoor events, long car trips, camping, and even just regular use. It will charge and power many different things many, many times. Its versatility seems endless.

I can’t even find any faults. The power station worked as expected with everything I put it through. It is a bit heavy, about the size of a battery, but to have that much power, it would have to be.

You can buy the EBL Portable Power Station Voyager 1000 for $659.99 on the EBL website and $499 on Amazon after applying the coupon code EBLCODE1.
