Ecovacs has released two new high-tech robot vacuums. They are the Deebot T80 Omni and the Deebot X9 Pro Omni, and they’re supposed to bring major improvements to robot floor cleaning, while also lasting longer.
The two vacuums come with new features that give better cleaning power than ever before. Both models include the advanced OZMO Roller Mop, a big upgrade over older mopping methods. Most mops reuse dirty water, which spreads germs and dirt around the floor. The OZMO Roller Mop keeps clean and dirty water separate.
It constantly washes the mop with fresh water while trapping dirty water, making cleaning much more sanitary. However, this would mean that it needs a refill much faster. Still, it’s worth it to know the water is completely clean. The roller mop also presses down 16 times harder than regular mop pads, cleaning deeper and removing tough stains.
This technology first appeared in the Deebot X8 Pro Omni and is now available in the cheaper T80 Omni and the premium X9 Pro Omni. The main differences between the T80 Omni and X9 Pro Omni are their power and extra features. Both have the Ozmo Roller Mop and the handy Omni Station for automatic cleaning, but the X9 Pro Omni includes more high-tech upgrades for even better performance.
The X9 Pro Omni has Ecovacs’ Blast feature, which basically just adds a boost to large-airflow suction technology. This is a new vacuum system that improves airflow while the vacuum is on. It has a strong 100W motor, a wider air intake, and specially designed fan blades that work together to create powerful yet quiet suction on all floor types.
This suction is even stronger thanks to the SuperBoost battery, which lasts 2.5 times longer and delivers 50% more power than older batteries. This means the vacuum keeps working well, even in big homes or with lots of dirt, and will continue to last longer.
The X9 Pro Omni also has an improved ZeroTangle 3.0 system. It uses a special main brush and curved side brush to stop hair and fibers from getting tangled. This is a common issue with regular vacuums and robot vacuums.
The X9 Pro Omni also has a smart brush-lifting system that raises the brushes when it senses wet messes, preventing streaks and keeping floors spotless. TruEdge 2.0 3D edge sensing and an extending mop and side brush clean right up to walls and corners.
The T80 Omni doesn’t have the Blast technology or the brush-lifting system, but it still cleans well with the Ozmo Roller Mop and ZeroTangle 3.0 system. It also has AI Instant Re-Mop, which finds sticky spots and cleans them again automatically, so you shouldn’t have to.
Both models work with the Omni Station, which washes and dries the mop automatically. The X9 Pro Omni’s station uses 145F hot air to dry the mop, while the T80 Omni’s station uses 113F. No need to worry about the difference because both temperatures stop bacteria from growing. The station also refills the water tanks, so you never have to do it yourself.
The prices vary because of the differences in features. The T80 Omni costs $1,199 on Amazon, and the X9 Pro Omni costs $1,599 on Amazon. You can also buy both on the official Ecovacs website. Keep in mind that there’s a limited-time $300 discount on the X9 Pro Omni and a 10% discount on the T80 Omni.
This means that from May 13 to May 19, 2025, the X9 Pro Omni will be $1,299.99, and the T80 Omni will be $1,199.99. Once the sale ends, the prices will go back up to what was stated before.
