Eufy is an Anker sub-brand, and instead of focusing on power and charging hardware like its parent company, it has decided to take a step into the future. Eufy’s wheelhouse is smart home products, one category of which is smart robot vacuums that will clean your house, empty their contents, and sit in their dock to charge, autonomously.
The manufacturer has announced two new robot vacuums to join its rich portfolio. They’re the Eufy Omni E25 and E28. While they might be called robot vacuums, they don’t just suck. Both of these vacuums come with mop systems, and the Eufy E28 even brings something that no other robot vacuum has. Let’s talk about it.
Eufy’s New Robots Suck Pretty Hard
Eufy’s new robot vacuums are made for the smart home, but the name gives away their primary functionality: vacuuming. The good thing is, you won’t have to worry about whether these robots do that well or not, because their 20,000 Pa suction power answers that. That’s an industry-leading number, so despite their small size, they won’t leave any dirt behind.
Plus, with the DuoSpiral roller brush, carpets aren’t an issue either. Dust, pet hair, and other debris trapped within the fibers of your carpet will be forced to come loose.
The E25 and E28 Come Equipped With the Hydrojet Mop System
Robot vacuums do a lot more than vacuuming, with most modern options coming equipped with mopping systems. The Eufy E25 and E28 are no exception to that, using the company’s HydroJet self-cleaning mop system to keep your floors glistening.
The mop rollers spin 360 times every minute, with a double-scraper mechanism to pry stubborn gunk from the ground. Plus, to clean well, you have to apply some pressure, and with 3.3 pounds of downward force—the industry’s highest—deep cleaning is no issue whatsoever.
The Eufy Omni E28 Has the Industry’s First Portable Deep Cleaner
There’s one major thing that differentiates the Eufy E28 from the less expensive E25, and that’s the presence of a detachable portable deep cleaner. You can actually detach the water tank of the E28’s base station, which doubles as a portable deep cleaner, to blast the most stubborn stains out of your stairs, furniture, and more. That’s something that you simply won’t see any other robot vacuum come with.
If you know that the FlexiOne portable deep cleaner isn’t something that you need, you can save quite a bit of money by opting for the E25, since that’s the only way they differ. If “FlexiOne” sounds familiar, it is because the Eufy E20, the predecessor to these gadgets, had a FlexiOne design that allowed it to be a robot, handheld, or cordless stick vacuum.
Eufy’s E25 and E28 Will Be Available as Early as Late April
If you want to get your hands on either of these robot vacuums, you’ll be able to pre-order them starting today. However, actual shipping of the Eufy Omni E28 won’t start until April 23rd, and in the case of the Omni E25, you will need to wait even longer, until June.
The Eufy E25 costs $999, while the Eufy E28, with its FlexiOne portable deep cleaner, costs $1,299.
