Europe is thrusting forward in the crypto adoption race with the launch of the first spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). Europe was also the first to establish a set of regulations for cryptocurrencies outpacing the United States on both fronts.

 

Analysts at crypto intelligence tracker, Santiment, noted a shift in trader sentiment over the past week. Meme coins have decoupled from crypto markets temporarily, offering gains to holders, unlike large market capitalization assets in the ecosystem.

Bitcoin (BTC) price action remains boring, but certain elements that directly or indirectly affect it are changing slowly. Previous publications have already discussed the slump in Bitcoin price action, the recent surge in Open Interest (OI), and the drop in volatility to all-time lows.
