Feb 16 | Innovation Review on Battery Tech

Clean energy naysayers are quick to point out that solar and wind energy aren’t reliable, and don’t offer much power when the sun sets, or the winds don’t blow. This isn’t wrong, but it’s not the dealbreaker it’s made out to be, as long as we pair clean energy generation with buffers of energy storage. Renewable energy will succeed when it’s combined with big-scale electricity storage, which can smooth out the valleys of renewable production, and meet the peaks in demand. Batteries will play a big role in this greener future.

This month Cleantech Council welcomes non-members to join their Innovation Review on Battery Tech. We’ll uncover the big near-term changes in energy storage at our Batteries meeting. We’ll discuss the advances in stationary batteries, from home-sized to grid-scale. Get set to meet the companies creating innovative chemistries, manufacturing, products, and technologies that will support the renewable energy revolution.

Registration Fee $200
