Forget AirPods Max, these stylish headphones have a Black Friday-level discount

Need a solid pair of headphones that sound great and don’t look terrible? Forget the more expensive alternatives when this deal is available.

Even though AirPods Max are easily the most stylish pair of headphones out there, there’s just no getting around that price tag. At £499, they’re almost double what you’d expect to pay for headphones from other brands, and so if you’re after a more wallet friendly alternative then I’ve got you covered.

The Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S2e, which were crowned our favourite headphones of 2024, have now plummeted from £379 to just £249. Interestingly enough, that 34% price cut brings the headphones down to the same price that they went for during last year’s Black Friday sale.

The award winning Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S2e headphones are now just a fraction of their original price, making them a bargain buy for anyone in need of a new (and stylish) pair.

There are five distinct colour variations available for the Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S2e, including a merlot-style red and a marble-esque grey, but for my money it’s the slick forest green that stands out above the rest, particularly for the golden accents that adorn the exterior of the headphone cups.

As stylish as the Px7 S2e are however, no pair of headphones are worth their salt unless they can deliver the goods when it comes to sound quality, and thankfully Bowers and Wilkins knows its stuff.

In our 4.5-star review for the headphones, AV Editor Kob Monney detailed: “the soundstage is much wider than it was before, making the previous headphones seem more narrow and compact. Instruments sound bigger, there’s a wider spread in terms of where voices and instruments are placed within the soundstage, which has the added effect of giving them more room to breathe.”

While the Px7 S2e don’t quite beat out the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones when it comes to noise cancelling, no other pair of headphones have managed to do so yet, and what Bowers and Wilkins’ cans bring to the table is still respectable.

The ANC featured here can still bring the sound of a train carriage or general conversation down to a hum, and it can help you lock in when you’re trying to get some work done at a local cafe.

The Bowers and Wilkins Px7 S2e were already an easy pair of headphones to recommend at full price but at just £249 they’re a steal.
