GE Lighting unveils its latest smart home offering today: Cync Dynamic Effects light strips. These new light strips produce millions of colors with seemingly infinite tones, gradients, hues, and more. And with the home decoration season upon us, it doesn’t come a moment too soon.

In addition to the millions of colors it produces, the Cync Dynamic Effect light strips are controlled through GE’s Cync App (iOS/Android), that’s available for your smartphone. Once the lights are set up in and around your home, you can use the app to program original light shows or sync the lights to the music on your device. Cync promises more functionality with light and music control coming next year. The new light strips are also compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

The Cync Dynamic Effect light strips are available in indoor and outdoor varieties. As you might expect, the outdoor lighting strips are quite a bit costlier than the indoor ones. Here’s a breakdown of the pricing.

If you want the CYNC LED Smart Light Strip to brighten up your holiday season, you can get them at a Best Buy store or through the website. Other retailers will get the lights starting next year.
