Get free unlimited in-flight internet, 5GB of international data, and roadside assistance for a year on T-Mobile

As international travel continues to open up, T-Mobile is handing its customers a couple of handy freebies that will make accessing data when overseas so much easier. The carrier’s new Coverage Beyond product will give customers an allowance of high-speed data in more than 210 countries with the added bonus of free, unlimited in-flight internet access which should put an end to those wasted hours spent traveling by air.

Coverage Beyond is the next evolution of T-Mobile’s Simple Global product and it will see Magenta Max and Business Unlimited plans gaining 5GB of high-speed data that is accessible in more than 210 destinations. Download speeds at supported destinations are also being doubled from 128kbps to 256kbps, with Business Advanced and Ultimate plan subscribers gaining access to a Secure WiFi mobile app to help keep them secure when connecting to public hotspots abroad.

“Our mission is to be the best in the world at connecting customers to their world, and that means making sure your phone just works wherever you go – even if you travel beyond our signal,” said Mike Sievert, CEO, T-Mobile. “We pioneered coverage in-flight and abroad, and today we’re going full throttle to change the game again. This is what the Un-carrier does – hunts down pain points, smashes them, and changes the game for good.”

What’s more, from June 21st T-mobile will give its Magenta Max and Business Unlimited customers unlimited internet access when flying on the following US airlines:

  • Delta
  • American Airlines
  • Alaskan Airlines
  • United Airlines (coming later this year)

Sprint customers on Sprint Max, Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Premium, and Max Up with Sprint One plans will also benefit from the 5GB of high-speed data when overseas,

Finally, T-Mobile is also offering a year’s free subscription to AAA 24/7 roadside assistance via its T-Mobile Tuesdays app. With carriers dropping deals and discounts galore recently, it’s a great time to be switching providers for a better deal and save some cash in the process.
