There is a preponderance of evidence that Beats Studio Buds+ are coming soon, and the latest sign is Google featuring an image of the earbuds in its Google I/O keynote.
In March, an iOS update referenced audio accessories that included AirPods and Beats headphones. Even though the earbuds haven’t been released yet, they also briefly appeared to pre-order before the Amazon listing was removed.
Interestingly, at Google’s I/O recent keynote in which it announces new products and services, it included an image of the Beats Studio Buds+ on a presentation slide at one minute and 20 seconds.
Besides the eye-catching transparent color option, the Amazon listing provided insights into the new product’s features. For example, the Beats Studio Buds+ offers Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Transparency mode, and the distinctive Beats sound.
The ANC mode boasts 1.6 times more power, while the Transparency mode is significantly improved with three times larger microphones, new venting, and a powerful processor.
The Studio Buds+ uses simple one-touch pairing for Android and Apple devices, supports Spatial Audio, and features convenient on-device tap controls. The battery life is stated as 36 hours, and the charging case utilizes USB-C for charging.
Based on the details provided in the Amazon listing, the Beats Studio Buds+ is scheduled to be released on May 18 and are expected to be delivered by May 19. They have a retail price of $169.95 and were briefly listed as available for pre-order in transparent, black, or ivory color options.
