In the face of competing cloud gaming services from Amazon, Microsoft, and even Apple, Google is taking steps to extend Stadia’s reach to eight new countries, bringing the total to 22. With Cyberpunk 2077 launching on the platform on December 10th, it makes sense on Google’s part to make the most of the hype that surrounds the title.

Stadia is rolling out to Austria, Czechia, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, and Switzerland, and will cost €9.99 a month for access to the Pro tier. All you need is a Gmail account and a laptop, desktop PC, Android smartphone or tablet and a game controller, either the official Stadia controller or the Xbox or PlayStation one that you might already have.

New subscribers get a free month of Stadia Pro which means that December’s entertainment is taken care of, just remember to cancel the subscription before the month’s trial is up if you decide not to continue.

Are you going to sign up for Stadia? If so, don’t forget to check out all the free and paid-for games available on Stadia.
