You Can Get The Google Pixel Tablet Right Now With Either A 20% Or 25% Discount
The Google Pixel Tablet is one of the less thought-about members of the Pixel lineup of devices. It launched last year at Google I/O, and while this would be the appropriate year for it to get a sequel, there’s been no buzz whatsoever regarding that, so it looks unlikely.
So, if you’ve been thinking of getting this Android tablet combined with a smart home display, you’ll be glad to know there’s no better time to pull that trigger than now. The Google Pixel Tablet is currently on sale for both storage configurations, and you’ll be getting a pretty big discount.
You can now buy the 128GB Google Pixel Tablet, which should normally cost $499, for $399. That’s $100 off, or a 20% discount. Meanwhile, the Google Pixel Tablet with 256GB of storage costs $599 on a normal day, but you can increase your savings to $150 (25%) and get it for just $449—that’s cheaper than the 128GB model costs normally.
It’s not certain how long these deals will last, considering it isn’t Black Friday or anything. It’s listed as a “Limited Time Deal”, but you shouldn’t expect it to last beyond a week. It’d be good to hop on these savings while they’re still here.
The Google Pixel Tablet Is A Very Different Android Tablet
The Google Pixel Tablet was born into the world less than a year ago, but it did not come with the energy of a tablet trying to defeat heavy hitters like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9. Instead, its value proposition is that it’s an Android tab that aims to be useful primarily at home, even when you’re not holding it. With the included charging dock/speaker, the Pixel Tablet turns into a smart display like Google’s Nest Hub devices.
The specs aren’t the worst, either. You don’t get cellular connectivity, so you’ll need to use Wi-Fi to connect this tab to the internet. You get an aluminum body, no weather resistance (remember, this is a home tablet), and support for any USI 2.0-compliant stylus. The screen is a 10.95-inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 1600 x 2560.
It can be upgraded to Android 14 and is powered by the Google Tensor G2, along with 8GB of RAM. You can get either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The cameras are basic, with identical 8MP modules on the front and back of the device. The battery is 7,020 mAh, though you’ll only get 15W of wired charging for that huge cell.
