WB Montreal’s upcoming Bat-Family adventure, Gotham Knights, is now slated for an October 25, 2022 release date. While the game was originally slated to launch in 2021, it was delayed like numerous other titles in order to accomadate additional polish and give the developers more time.
Gotham Knights stars characters from the Bat-Family, with the ability to play as Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood. The story revolves around the seeming death of Bruce Wayne and the resulting power vaccuum in Gotham, as the mysterious Court of Owls start to make their presence known. The game can be played solo or in two-player co-op, and is coming to both last-generation and current-generation systems as well as PC.
Gotham Knights is just one of the major games WB Games is currently looking to launch in 2022, with action-RPG Hogwarts Legacy and co-op shooter Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League both tentatively still slated for sometime in the same year. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be delayed to 2023, according to a recent report, but nothing has been officially confirmed just yet.
