Verizon will throw in a free Samsung Chromebook if you live in a selected city and sign up for the Gigabit plan on its high-speed fiber broadband network called Fios through until September 21st. It’s not just the Gigabit plan that is being rewarded either because even those signing up for the 400Mbps plan will get a free Samsung Galaxy tablet.
If the $89.99 for the Gigabit plan (with autopsy setup) is too rich for your veins, by signing up for the 400Mbps plan you’ll be given a Galaxy Tab A7 Lite for your troubles. If you are already a Verizon Wireless customer things get even better because you’ll save up to $40 monthly on your Fios bill, which may be more useful than the free Chromebook 4 11.6 or Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. Verizon’s Fios network is available in the following cities:
- New Jersey
- New York City
- Albany, NY
- Buffalo, NY
- Long Island, NY
- Plattsburgh, NY
- Staten Island, NY
- Syracuse, NY
- Baltimore, MD
- Salisbury, MD
- Delaware
- Boston, MA
- Harrisburg, PA
- Philadelphia, PA
- Pittsburgh, PA
- Providence, RI
- Norfolk, VA
- Richmond, VA
- Washington, DC
