Grab the HyperX Cloud Core gaming headset for as little as $35 today

Looking for a new gaming headset? What do you prefer, wired or wireless? Both are on sale today! You can get the HyperX Cloud Core wired gaming headset for as little as $34.99 today at Best Buy. That’s a 50% discount off the regular price of this headset and one of the best prices we’ve ever seen. You can find it going this low at a couple of other retailers, too, including GameStop, but you’ll have to pay a $6 shipping fee at most stores since it’s so cheap. So the thing you’ll want to do to save a couple bucks is order it for in-store pickup, which is best done through whichever store is closest to you.

You can also save on the wireless version of the Cloud Core today. It is on sale for $79.99, which is $20 off its regular price.

    Wireless Cloud Core

More or less the same as the other headset but wireless with a battery life that can last for up to 20 hours. It also has DTS:x support for spatial audio to help you identify where those footsteps are coming from.

    $79.99 at Best Buy

This is a relatively new headset just released late last year, so these sales are pretty unique. We haven’t seen a lot of major discounts for the Cloud Core lineup and today we’re getting both down to a low price at the same time.

The regular headset includes HyperX signature sound along with long-term comfort and durability. It is built with memory foam that resets with every use, providing you a new level of comfort every time. It also uses a soft leatherette padding.

The headset comes with an advanced audio control box that lets you toggle the 7.1 surround sound on and off. That surround sound is a great way to immerse yourself in your favorite media, and it has the added bonus of being awesome when playing video games, too. Use the surround sound for positional audio while playing.

The wired Cloud Core is compatible with basically every major platform you’d expect, including your PC and your Xbox. As long as you have a 3.5mm port to plug into, it will work. The wireless headset is probably a bit more picky but also offers some upgrades that may be worth the investment, including DTS:x support for spatial audio so you can really track down your prey in whatever game you’re playing.
