Microsoft and AMD have announced the creation of special Halo Infinite-themed RX 6900 XT graphics cards, complete with a custom design that’s reminiscent of the Master Chief himself. This includes a reflective iridium gold fan border, the “117” callsign, a Cortana-blue light that looks similar to the AI slot on the back of Master Chief’s helmet, and plenty of green metal plates.

Unlike the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X and Xbox Elite Controller, these special RX 6900 XT GPUs won’t be going on sale. Instead, Microsoft and AMD are planning to give away several of these graphics cards in the coming weeks. The first opportunity to potentially win one of these GPUs begins later today, so keep your eyes peeled.

The reveal of the Halo Infinite-themed RX 6900 XT came alongside a lengthy blog post and a detailed video that details some of the ways that Microsoft and 343 Industries are ensuring that the Halo Infinite PC experience is high quality. This includes support for AMD FreeSync, tons of PC-specific options, integration with Discord and RGB lighting setups, and more.

Halo Infinite is slated to launch on Dec. 8, 2021 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows PCs. Note that Halo Infinite preorders are available now, though keep in mind that the campaign costs $60 and the multiplayer experience will be entirely free-to-play (with paid Halo Infinite Battle Passes).
