Halo Infinite is now releasing sometime in Fall 2021

    A new blog post from 343 Industries confirms that Halo Infinite is now targeting a Fall 2021 release date. In this blog post, Creative Director Joseph Staten, who joined the team back in August, shared his impressions of the campaign and explained that the new Fall 2021 window is meant to allow the team to improve different aspects of the game while also allowing the developers to “recharge” over the holidays.

    Developers at 343 also noted that while the feedback from the July gameplay demo was important, a lot of it was based around work the team was already planning, such as improved global illumination, ambient occlusion, shadows, volumetric lighting and reducing pop-in.
