Halo Infinite Season 2 introduces two new maps with Catalyst and Breaker

Halo Infinite’s second season, Lone Wolves, is coming soon with two new maps. Developer 343 Industries is sharing extra detail on just how these maps will play when the season arrives.

343 Industries shared a breakdown on Friday, giving a walkthrough video on just what the new maps look like. The first new map in Halo Infinite Season 2 is called Catalyst, while the second is called Breaker. These maps are designed as an Arena map and a Big Team Battle map, respectively. Catalyst is a symmetrical map, with a light bridge connecting the two sides. Breaker on the other hand features a massive environmental hazard in the form of a Banished laser. 343 notes that this can be exploited with anyone using a Repulsor, as well as warning that you have to time moving past the laser carefully. Both new maps are coming on May 3, 2022 at the beginning of Season 2.

While the list of multiplayer maps in Halo Infinite is slowly growing, the developers are making moves to ensure there’s more content in the future. Independent studio Certain Affinity is officially confirmed to be working Halo Infinite, and our own reporting indicates that this will be a specific new mode.
