Here’s A Good Look At Renders For The Galaxy Tab S10 Series

Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S series is the way to go if you like your Android devices humungous and super-powered. Compared to other Android tablets, last year’s Tab S9 series almost seemed like overkill. Needless to say, tablet enthusiasts are getting excited about Samsung’s next tablets this year.

The Tab S10 series is up next and thanks to the good people at Android Headlines who were able to get an exclusive on their hands, we now have yet another look at what the devices will look like. In a way, it also seems to confirm that this will be a two-tablet generation.

There’s Not Much To Change In The Tab S10 Design, So It Doesn’t Change

Samsung offers some of the biggest tablets that you can get. If your dream has ever been to have the Android experience in a form factor as big as you can get, you’re the perfect candidate for a Samsung Galaxy Tab S model. Last year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra measured in with a 14.6-inch diagonal on its screen and considering that’s bigger than my laptop’s screen, I certainly consider it to be massive.

For a tablet with such a big frame, there’s little to change. The front is still the massive slate that it has always been, with relatively slim bezels (for a tablet, all around). The S10 Ultra is going to differentiate itself with a tiny notch as last year’s model did. Looking at the S10 and S9 devices head-on, I highly doubt you’ll be able to tell the difference.

The back side also stays the same. You get a dual-camera setup tucked away in the corner, beside which are the LED flash and a low-profile groove that your S Pen can magnetically sit in. There’s hardly a point in a tablet this high performance if it can’t even handle a stylus. Besides that, the rest of the back panel is plain. Along the frame of the device, you’ll find a total of eight stereo speakers. Design-wise, everything is the same.

This Year Will Only Have Two Tablets; Samsung Might Be Trying To Simplify The Lineup

One odd thing you might notice about the leaked images of the Galaxy Tab S10 series posted above is that there are just two tablets included despite the family traditionally being a three-tablet family.

That’s because it seems that the vanilla Tab S10 model simply won’t exist this time around. Yep, it looks like all we can expect is a Tab S10+ and a Tab S10 Ultra. I’m not quite sure why Samsung is making this move. It could be to simplify the lineup, or it could be because the 11-inch display of the Tab S10 comes too close to the company’s less premium tablets.

The Expected Specifications Are Solid Around The Board

There’s not too much on the specs of the device, but we do have some basic expectations. First off, it seems that the screen sizes from last year will be retained: that’s a 12.4-inch and a 14.6-inch display for the S10+ and S10 Ultra respectively.

In the engine room, Samsung might be making a notable change to MediaTek instead of its long-time partner, Qualcomm. The top-of-the-line MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ looks like it’ll be the lucky girl at the prom. There will likely be no changes to the 13MP + 8MP camera setup either.
