Version 2.3 “Farewell, Penacony”
Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 went live on June 19, 2024 (UTC+8), bringing in a new permanent Trailblaze Mission, “Farewell, Penacony,” to draw your story of Penacony to a conclusion and allow you to spend your free time with friends before setting out on a new trailblazing adventure.
But where exactly are we heading next?
Special Program Version 2.3
During the Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.3 Special Program, numerous events, and new gameplay mechanics were revealed, getting everyone excited—myself included! The brand-new Divergent Universe game mode is something to look forward to, along with the Apocalyptic Shadow.
However, the most mind-blowing news came at the end of the livestream when Honkai: Star Rail dropped a massive bombshell.
New Upcoming Characters
With all the leaks circulating, Honkai: Star Rail made a bold move to make them the first to announce their upcoming releases. In a major drip marketing event, they revealed not one, not two, but SEVEN new characters from three of the six Flagships owned by the Hexafleet of the Xianzhou Alliance, with one character from our Astral Express Crew.
To have upcoming characters hailing from Xianzhou can only mean one thing! That’s right! We’re heading back for another escapade in The Xianzhou, reuniting with old friends in Luofu, and hopefully, everyone in the Astral Express will be coming along.
